The expectation is that he goes back to Saskatoon, but StanBo himself today looked pretty optimistic about his ability to make the Big Club this fall. Time will tell, but it's exciting to think about the potential with Dach on a line with Debrincat or Kane.

I too am warming up to the pick. Roll 4 lines is huge in playoffs and we are on oy to accomplish that. Success model

I didn't mention in the blog, but the fact Dach is a right-handed centre is a nice quality to have added to the system.

Apparently trade talk on the floor was fairly quiet as a lot of teams are likely waiting for the official word on the salary cap which I believe Dreger said a few days ago could come tomorrow.

They could probably get Stastny from Vegas for practically nothing if they pick up Clarkson's contract. That gives you a solid veteran center for 2 years until Dach is truly ready. If Dach is ready to go in year 2, you could easily move Stastny at the deadline.


If Vegas is really close to signing Karlsson, they are going to have to shed around $15 million. We could throw in a 2nd and take Tuch as well. That would solve the Vegas problem and what a forward group we would have!
